UPDATE: We raised $1150 for Now + There!!!

Thank you all for following along on my self-created 31 Day Art Making Challenge during July. It was both fun and exhausting, but I guess that is what a challenge is!

All 31 Day Challenge Pieces for Sale

I really enjoyed having a number of other people join in on the challenge — Jenni and her detailed rock paintings, Allison and her daughter Ella trying out different subjects in watercolor, Kerry with a cameo appearance of nail art, and, the young lady who matched me day for day on the challenge, 9 year old Vanessa from Needham, MA! It was a lot of fun.

Each Piece is for Sale

Each piece I did this past month is for sale for charity. 95% of the price you pay will go to Now + There , a Boston organization dedicated to improving public art and educating more artists to be able to do large scale public art projects. This organization is committed to neighborhoods in Boston that need more art and funding and teaching artists that are often unable to access the expensive public art projects.

Throughout the pandemic Now + There has continued to host virtual discussions with local artists and community members to look at what different Boston neighbors need right now. Check out the discussion here.

Set Your Own Price

Each piece has a base price of $31. Donate that (which is fantastic!) or tell me what you what donation you’d like to make for the piece. 5% will go to shipping the piece to you and if I don’t use it all I’ll add it to the donation. To save on fees, you can pay me by Venmo, check, or cash.

How Does This Work?

1. Find What You Like: Look at the images below and pick which piece you want.
2. Let Me Know: Contact me (email, text, phone) to tell me which piece you want, how much you want to donate, and confirm the piece is still available in case I’m behind in marking each ‘sold’.
3. Donate: Together we will coordinate a way to pay and a method of Covid-safe delivery.
4. Enjoy: If you need ideas for displaying the piece please let me know!
5. Copyright: Like all works of art, I continue to own the copyright for image (e.g. you can’t make wallpaper out of it) but you own the rights to hang it in your home (or put it in a closet.)
6. Donate Instead: If there is no piece you want but you want to support Now + There, donate here or read about other options to support them. And tell me about it so we can track our collective effort.
